Alexandria Water Company Succeeds in Renewing TSM Certificate for Mariout 2 (K40) Station Without Comments

Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director, announced the success of K40 Station in renewing the Technical Sustainable Management (TSM) Certificate for the third time in a row, without any comments, reflecting the station's commitment to the highest standards of quality and operational efficiency.

This achievement comes thanks to the continuous support of the company's leadership, and periodic follow-up to ensure that all certification requirements are met, which are based on five basic elements: human resources, occupational safety and health, standard operation, standard maintenance, and laboratory quality control.

This certificate is granted by the General Administration of Technical Inspection at the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, with the support of the German Ministry of International Cooperation and German experts (GIZ), as it aims to ensure the sustainability of the application of technical and administrative procedures at stations, which contributes to raising operational efficiency and improving the quality of service provided to citizens.

In this context, Eng. Jawida Ali Suleiman, Head of the Southern Region Production and Distribution Sector, praised the effective role of both:

Dr. Lamia Mustafa, Head of the Laboratories Sector, and Eng. Ibrahim Hanfy, General Manager of TSM Affairs. He also praised the efforts of all the station's employees, headed by Eng. Mohamed El-Qeblawy, General Manager of Kilo 40 Station and its levers, to achieve this success, stressing that teamwork and fruitful cooperation were essential factors in achieving this distinguished achievement.

It is worth noting that the K40 station has a design capacity of 566 thousand cubic meters per day, and is the second largest station in terms of production capacity in the company after the Syouf station, and serves the areas of Ameriya, King Mariout, Borg El Arab, the North Coast, and Mohamed Naguib Military Base, as it works to provide pure drinking water according to the highest international standards.
