As part of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company's efforts to raise community awareness of the importance of water and its preservation, the company's awareness department organized a field visit for Nursing Institute students to Sharqi Water Station, under the auspices of Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director.

The visit included introducing students to the company's role in producing potable water, learning about the stages of water purification and the role of the laboratory sector in monitoring quality during all stages to ensure that water reaches the highest safety standards. Awareness meetings were also organized on rationalizing water consumption, the impact of climate change on water resources, in addition to highlighting the presidential initiative "New Beginning" that aims to build the human being and achieve sustainable development.

This visit comes within the framework of the company's strategy to spread water culture among various societal groups, emphasizing the importance of rationalizing water consumption and raising environmental awareness to preserve this vital resource for future generations.
