Alexandria Water continues its cooperation with civil society to support sustainable development efforts...

As part of enhancing community engagement efforts and achieving sustainable development, and as part of the implementation of the cooperation protocol between the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater – represented by the Alexandria Water Company – and the Rotary Clubs Federation, Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director, received Eng. Mohamed Fawzy, President of the Rotary Club of Alexandria, and a delegation of Rotary Club representatives.

The meeting discussed ways to develop joint cooperation between the two parties. An agreement was reached to implement a project to deliver drinking water services to 110 families in villages south of Alexandria, as part of efforts to improve the standard of living for citizens and support vulnerable groups.

Eng. Ahmed Gaber also signed a new cooperation protocol with the Lamtna Charitable Association (registered under No. 4423 of 2024). The agreement was signed on behalf of the association by Ms. Hadeer Mahmoud Rashad, Chairwoman of the Association's Board of Directors. The protocol aims to deliver water to the most needy families. It was agreed to implement the first phase, which will connect 13 families, with full funding from the association.

Engineer Ahmed Gaber emphasized that the Alexandria Drinking Water Company prioritizes strengthening its partnerships with civil society organizations to effectively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that providing clean drinking water is a fundamental right for every citizen. We will continue working with our partners to deliver services to all areas and families most in need, supporting the Egyptian state's vision of improving quality of life and achieving comprehensive community development.
