The Alexandria Drinking Water Company Receives a High-Level Delegation at the Crisis Management Command and Control Center...
As part of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Housing, Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, received an official delegation that included:
• Major General Tarek Mohamedin, Executive Director of Crisis Management at the Cabinet,
• Mr. Mohamed Mustafa, Head of the Crisis Room at the Ministry of Housing,
• Representatives from the General Department of Occupational Safety and Health, Crisis and Emergency at the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater.
The visit included a tour of the main operations room at the company's Crisis Management Command and Control Center. The delegation listened to a detailed presentation on the room's work mechanisms and the modern digital transformation technologies the company relies on to monitor daily workflow and respond promptly to crises and emergencies.
The General Department of Occupational Safety and Health and Crisis Management at the Holding Company also reviewed the emergency and occupational health and safety plans for the drinking water and wastewater utilities sector.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation praised the advanced level achieved by the Alexandria Water Company in the field of digital transformation and its high readiness to manage crises efficiently and professionally.
In his speech, Engineer Ahmed Gaber said that our reception of this esteemed delegation comes within the framework of the Alexandria Water Company's commitment to supporting the state's efforts in digital transformation and strengthening the crisis management system to ensure the sustainability of high-quality service delivery to citizens. He added that we are constantly working to develop our human and technological capabilities to achieve the highest levels of readiness and efficiency in responding to emergencies. He also emphasized that the achievements made are the result of collective work and ongoing cooperation with all state agencies under the umbrella of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater.
