As part of the intensive preparations for the summer and to ensure the continued efficiency of drinking water services, Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director of the Alexandria Water Company, conducted an extensive field tour to ensure the readiness of water networks and pumping stations.

The tour began with an inspection of the water and discharge lines of the Mansheya Water Station (2), followed by a visit to a number of strategic water supply points, including Palm Hills, Fishermen's Bridge, Abu El Kheir Bridge, the Petrojet area, and finally the Mergham Crossing. The tour concluded with an inspection of the Mergham Water Pump.

The tour aimed to ensure the efficient supply of water to vital areas along the Alexandria Desert Road, including the 21st Desert Road, the 26th Desert Road, El-Fardous Housing, the 10 Blocks Housing, the Free Zone, the Maritime Arm, the Industrial Zone (Fathy Mahmoud), and the 21st Coastal Pump, extending to the 34th Coastal Kilometer.

During the tour, Engineer Ahmed Gaber stated:

"We continue to work day and night to ensure the provision of safe and stable drinking water services to the people of Alexandria, especially with the increase in consumption rates during the summer. These field visits are part of the company's proactive plan to identify any challenges on the ground and address them immediately, ensuring the sustainability and quality of service across the governorate."

Gaber emphasized the importance of regular monitoring of all work sites, enhancing levels of preparedness, and ensuring full coordination between operations, maintenance, and emergency teams to ensure citizens' uninterrupted water needs.
