A cooperation protocol between the Alexandria Water Company and the "Kater Khairak" Charitable Association to serve the most needy areas...
As part of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company's efforts to enhance its role in serving the community, Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director, signed a cooperation protocol with the "Kater Khairak" Charitable Association, registered under No. 4393 of 2023. The association was represented by Mr. Mahmoud Serag El-Din Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The protocol aims to support community participation efforts by delivering drinking water services to the most needy areas and families, and contributing to raising water awareness among citizens.
As part of this fruitful cooperation, the association funded a project to extend a 522-meter-long, 6-inch-diameter water pipeline in the village of Nasr Saleh in the Khorshid El-Bahriya area. This project will improve the level of service for a number of vulnerable families within the village.
In his speech, Engineer Ahmed Gaber emphasized that we, at the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, believe that true development can only be achieved through the concerted efforts of all state institutions and civil society. Hence, the importance of this cooperation with the "Kater Khairak" Association, which represents a model of integration in serving ordinary citizens. The company is committed to providing all possible facilities—within the framework of laws and regulations—to support such initiatives, with the aim of improving the quality of life in the most needy areas of Alexandria Governorate. He added, "We hope that this protocol will be the beginning of further community partnerships that serve the community."
