Cooperation Protocol between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and the Alexandria Stanley Lions Club...
Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, received Ms. Azza Mustafa Ibrahim Maher, Chairwoman of the Alexandria Stanley Lions Club (registered under No. 4064 of 2019), accompanied by a number of club members. This meeting was held within the framework of a joint cooperation protocol between the two parties to enhance community engagement efforts.
During the meeting, ways to develop cooperation between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and the Lions Club were discussed, particularly in supporting the most needy families and delivering water services to deprived areas.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the two parties agreed to implement an initiative to deliver water to a number of families in the village of Abis 7 - Airport. The Alexandria Stanley Lions Club pledged to cover the costs of the connections for these families, affirming the vital role played by civil society in supporting the most needy groups.
In this regard, Engineer Ahmed Gaber emphasized the importance of partnerships with civil society organizations in achieving sustainable development goals, saying:
