Alexandria Water Company continues to provide collection services amid disruptions to some electronic payment channels
As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure the stability of services provided to citizens, Engineer Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Alexandria Water Company, directed the implementation of several temporary measures to address the technical disruptions that have affected some electronic collection channels.
He was accompanied on the tour by Accountant Amir Hegab, Head of the Commercial Sector at the Alexandria Water Company, and the managers of the commercial branches.
The company confirmed that it has activated the manual collection system using paper ledgers to ensure the continuity of service and to prevent citizens from being affected by the disruption of some electronic payment systems. This will continue until service is restored to normal, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The company explained that its work teams are monitoring the situation periodically to ensure smooth service flow and provide the necessary support to customers, while remaining fully committed to transparency and facilitating customer service.
The Alexandria Water Company urges customers to cooperate with the field teams, stressing that every effort is being made to restore electronic services as soon as possible and to ensure the continued provision of quality and efficient services.
