Alexandria Water Company successfully renews TSM certification for Mansheya (2) Water Plant without any comments...

In a new achievement adding to the Alexandria Drinking Water Company's record of successes, Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director, announced the success of Mansheya (2) Plant in renewing its Technical Sustainable Management (TSM) certification for the fifth consecutive time without any comments. This reflects the firm commitment to applying the highest standards of quality and safe operation in the drinking water production and distribution system.

The Holding Company's inspection committee commended the plant's readiness, completion of standard operating procedures, standard capacity, occupational health and safety measures, and the overall appearance of the plant. They also commended the degree of cooperation and collaboration between the various sectors and employees to ensure that it maintains a proper standard.

In his speech, Engineer Ahmed Gaber said:

"The success of the Mansheya (2) station in renewing the TSM certification without any comments is conclusive evidence of the efficiency of the company's work system, led by the operations, maintenance, and laboratory teams. This achievement is the result of careful planning, adherence to international standards, and close monitoring by all relevant departments. We consider this success not the end of the road, but rather a starting point for further development and continuous improvement at all work sites."

It's worth noting that the TSM certification is based on five main pillars:

• Human Resources

• Occupational Safety and Health

• Standard Operation

• Standard Maintenance

• Laboratory Quality Control

It is awarded by the General Department of Technical Inspection at the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, with support from the German Federal Ministry for International Cooperation (GIZ), to ensure the sustainability of technical procedures, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the quality of services provided.

In this context, Eng. Jawida Ali Suleiman, Head of the Southern Region Production and Distribution Sector, praised the vital role of:

• Eng. Ibrahim Hanafi, General Manager of TSM Affairs
