Alexandria Water Company Hosts the "100 Million Health" Initiative of the President of the Republic to Ensure the Health of Workers...
As part of the President's initiative to preserve public health, the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, headed by Engineer Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman and Managing Director, hosted the "100 Million Health" initiative. The initiative was organized by the General Administration of Employee Services in cooperation with the Health Affairs Directorate - Central Medical District - through a medical day at the Moharram Bek and Balad branches.
The initiative included early detection of breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancer, in addition to kidney disease screenings, and blood pressure and blood sugar levels measurements, contributing to enhancing health awareness and early detection of diseases.
On the sidelines of the initiative, Engineer Ahmed Gaber conducted a field tour of the customer service centers at the Moharram Bek and Balad branches, where he listened to citizens' complaints and recommended that they quickly complete their work and provide the best possible service. He also inspected the various departments, ensured the smooth running of work, and listened to employees' suggestions.
Engineer Ahmed Gaber stated that the Alexandria Water Company places the health and safety of its employees at the forefront of its priorities, and is committed to supporting and implementing presidential initiatives aimed at improving quality of life and promoting health awareness. He also emphasized that these activities are part of the company's plans for social responsibility and employee welfare, ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.
