Alexandria Water and the Rotary Clubs Association Support Needy Families in Khattab Village...

As part of the cooperation protocol between the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater and the Rotary Clubs Association (Rotary Egypt 2451), a delegation from several Rotary clubs visited Khattab Village to attend the water supply operation for a number of vulnerable families.

During 2025, Rotary clubs in Alexandria Governorate covered the cost of water supply for a number of the most needy families in the villages of Amriya, Borg El Arab, Reef El Montazah, and Khorshid El Bahriya. This contributed to alleviating the burden on these families and ensuring their safe and sustainable access to water services.

It is worth noting that Engineer Ahmed Gaber Shehata, Chairman and Managing Director of the Alexandria Water Company, had signed cooperation protocols with several Rotary clubs to deliver water to the most needy families and areas in the governorate. The company's Community Engagement Department identified the targeted cases in accordance with these protocols.

Engineer Ahmed Gaber stated,

"At the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, we always aim to provide citizens with high-quality and efficient service, prioritizing the most needy families. Our cooperation with the Rotary Clubs Federation embodies an honorable example of the partnership between the service sector and civil society, contributing to achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of life in all villages and areas deprived of services."

Alexandria Water Company emphasizes that these efforts are part of its strategy to enhance community participation and achieve the state's goals of extending services to all segments of society.
