Alexandria Water Company Chairman Participates in Workshop on Water Loss Platform Development Under GIZ Program…
Engineer Gaddafi Ibrahim, Chairman and Managing Director of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, participated in a workshop held in Alexandria Governorate under the auspices of the GIZ Nile Delta Water Management Program. The workshop focused on discussing the necessary development work for the water loss platform after three years of successful operation.
The workshop included a detailed review of the achievements during the previous phase of the program. The team presented a comprehensive overview of current accomplishments, and attendees discussed ways to enhance the platform's performance in its next phase to improve the efficiency of the affiliated companies' water systems and enhance monitoring and analysis tools.
During his address, Engineer Gaddafi Ibrahim emphasized that the water loss platform has become a pivotal tool in supporting plans to improve operational efficiency and raise the quality of services provided to citizens. He noted that its development is a fundamental part of the company's move towards digital transformation and the adoption of smarter systems for water resource management.
His Excellency added that this forum is a successful model of cooperation between the subsidiary companies and the Nile Delta Water Management Program, which has yielded tangible results over the past years. We look forward to a new, more advanced phase that will enable us to improve field monitoring, support decision-making, and maximize the utilization of available resources.
