Alexandria Water Company Chairman Visits Nasr Pipe Casting Factory…

As part of the Alexandria Water Company's commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in the materials used in its projects, Engineer Gaddafi Ibrahim, Chairman and Managing Director of the Alexandria Water Company, conducted an inspection visit to the Nasr Pipe Casting Factory in Giza Governorate.

He was received by Engineer Hamdi Abdel Aziz Gweily, Chairman and Managing Director of Nasr Pipe Casting Company. The visit aimed to monitor and inspect 6,000 meters of 1000 mm diameter pipes, verifying their conformity to approved standard specifications. He also inspected the various manufacturing stages, production lines, technical laboratories, and examined the entire quantity on-site.

The visit included an extensive tour of the factory, during which Engineer Hamdi Abdel Aziz was accompanied by Engineer Gaddafi Ibrahim and leaders of the Alexandria Water Company. The tour included visits to the company's Nasr Industrial Apprenticeship School, the chemistry lab, the chemical analysis lab, the computer lab, as well as the sewing and metal casting workshops. The purpose of the visit was to observe the company's technical, human, and technological capabilities and its leading role in supporting national industry and developing technical expertise.

In his remarks, Engineer Gaddafi stated that they are committed to continuous on-site monitoring of the suppliers of essential equipment for Alexandria Water Company projects, ensuring their adherence to the highest quality standards and specifications. This guarantees operational efficiency and the sustainability of services provided to citizens. He also expressed appreciation for the important role played by Nasr Castings Company as a national industrial landmark, both in manufacturing and in preparing and training skilled technical personnel, reflecting the strength of Egyptian industry and its ability to support national projects.

At the conclusion of the visit, Engineer Hamdi Abdel Aziz Gweili, Chairman and Managing Director of Al Nasr Castings Company, presented the company’s shield to Engineer Gaddafi Ibrahim, Chairman and Managing Director of Alexandria Drinking Water Company, in appreciation of his efforts and role in supporting joint cooperation and strengthening the partnership between water sector companies and national industry.
