Based on the approach of continuous field monitoring and improving the quality of drinking water services provided to citizens, Mr. Al-Qaddafi Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, conducted an extensive inspection tour that included the West Alexandria and Coastal sectors and the Borg El Arab area, to monitor the regularity of work and operational efficiency at water production and transmission sites.

The tour included visits to a number of vital pumping stations in the sector, including the 38.5 km pumping station, the Borg El Arab Coastal pumping station, the Old Borg El Arab pumping station, the Old Railway pumping station, and the New Borg El Arab City pumping station. He monitored the operational pressure levels and the progress of the ongoing replacement, renovation, and development work to ensure the continuity of service at the required efficiency.

As part of strengthening institutional communication, Engineer Gaddafi met with a number of employees at various sites, listened to their opinions and suggestions, and emphasized the importance of teamwork and adherence to the highest standards of quality and occupational safety, considering human resources the cornerstone of a successful work system.

He concluded the tour by stressing that field monitoring is one of the most important aspects of performance improvement within the company, given its direct role in quickly identifying technical challenges and improving operational efficiency, thus contributing to providing distinguished services that meet the needs of citizens and keep pace with development and urban expansion plans in Alexandria Governorate.
