In accordance with the instructions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to eliminate Hepatitis C and detect non-communicable diseases, the (100 Million Health) campaign was launched by the Alexandria Water Company to screen employees and the public, based on the keenness of Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman and Managing Director of the company, to activate the role of community participation with the public.

The campaign was launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Housing, starting from Wednesday, November 1, 2018. The campaign aims to screen employees at the stations and commercial branches of the company, as well as the public dealing with the commercial branches.

The campaign screens for Hepatitis C and non-communicable diseases and holds seminars to raise awareness of the disease, its causes and methods of treatment.

A medical survey was conducted on about 2,500 employees and citizens at the branches of Moharram Bek, El-Balad, El-Raml, El-Nozha, the company's training center, El-Nozha station and El-Maamoura station. During this month, the screening will be completed at the rest of the company's branches and stations, according to the schedule set with the Ministry of Health, which is supervised by the committee The union for two years

The infected cases were informed of the steps to complete the remaining analyses and x-rays required to dispense treatment from the Ministry of Health outlets for free, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic.
