Rotary Club of Alexandria’s educational symposium - El Nozha

Within the framework of the interest of the President of the Republic

Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in civil society and his sovereignty declared the year 2022 as the year of civil society. Mr. Eng. Ahmed Gaber, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company, and Mr. Major General Mahmoud Nafi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sanitation Company in Alexandria, participated in the educational symposium organized by the Alexandria Nozha Rotary Club, headed by Dr. Jihan Tamo, in the presence of Dr. Naira Abdel Wahab, Chairman of the Water Committee in the Rotary District, and a large number of Rotary clubs in Alexandria Governorate.

During which, Engineer Ahmed Gaber reviewed the history of the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and the giant projects undertaken by the state and in which the Alexandria Water Company participates. He also presented the services that the company provides to serve the Alexandrian community.

He also expressed his happiness in cooperating with Rotary clubs in the areas of community participation and delivering water to the neediest families in Alexandria Governorate.

Mr. Major General Mahmoud Nafi also spoke about the challenges facing the sanitation company and the giant projects undertaken by the state in treating sewage. He urged the Rotary clubs to participate in delivering sewage connections to the most needy families.

At the end of the ceremony, the Alexandria Nozha Rotary Club honored Mr. Engineer Ahmed Gaber and Mr. Major General Mahmoud Nafi for their efforts in serving the Alexandrian community.
