On the sidelines of the COP 27 climate conference held in Sharm El-Sheikh

The Awareness Department participated and attended the conference, which was attended by a number of Alexandria leaders from the educational departments, environmental affairs, and officials of environmental education and population in the directorate and executive affairs.

Engineer Ahmed Jaber delivered a speech in which he recommended the necessity of preserving the environment to reduce the impact of climate emissions. He also praised the role that the company plays in reducing the increase in emissions, by establishing a department under the name of Climate Change Management, whose tasks include measuring the degree of emissions and their changes, and also the role of The company’s awareness management aims to raise the degree of cultural awareness of the community through awareness seminars and school visits for students and teachers to encourage the preservation of water, the environment and natural resources in order to preserve future generations.

His Excellency also participated in the opening of the waste recycling and reuse exhibition and the “Get Green” initiative, rationalize energy consumption and a safe environment, which was implemented by our students from all schools and with the participation of all educational departments.

After that, school students presented wonderful artistic performances about preserving the climate, environment and water.
