Cooperation protocols between Alexandria Water and civil society institutions.

Engineer Ahmed Gaber, President of the Alexandria Water Company, signed two cooperation protocols with the Khatam Al-Mursalin Lovers Foundation, known as No. 2831 of 2007. The protocol was signed by Ms. Nariman Lotfy Hassan, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

And the Waibqi Al-Athar Foundation, registered under No. 4291 of 2022, and the protocol was signed by Engineer Fatima Al-Zahraa Rushdi Saleh, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

The protocols stipulate cooperation between the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and both the Khatam Al-Mursaleen Lovers Foundation and the Waqib Al-Tafir Foundation in the areas of community participation, delivering water to the areas and families most in need, and raising water awareness in Alexandria Governorate.

Believing in the Alexandria Drinking Water Company’s belief in the necessity of cooperation between civil society institutions to enhance the role of community participation in the process of sustainable development in the regions and villages most in need, Engineer Ahmed Jaber received both Engineer Marwa Al-Derini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Protectors Association, and Professor Iman Rashad, Executive Director of Al-Thamarat Charitable Association.

Part of the cost of extending a water line (project) in the village of Al-Zuhur, No. 2 (one of the villages in the Montazah countryside), with a pipe length of 1,788 metres, was paid. The project serves more than 100 families in the village, and the total cost of the project amounted to 1,461,652 pounds. The Future Protectors Association contributed 50,000 pounds, and Al-Thamarat Charitable Society contributed 52,150 pounds to the project cost.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this charitable work
